"The Dream of Limbo" is a challenging 2D platform action game with "diving" as its core mechanic. You will navigate through a dark fairy tale world, constantly evading relentless attacks from enemies and attempting to defeat overwhelmingly powerful bosses.

Story

Psyche, due to an accident during her childhood, became physically frail and bedridden. What should have been a carefree childhood was instead spent in the hospital, surrounded by her sister who came to visit and a bed full of stuffed animals. Unable to go outside, she learned about the world through the fairy tales her sister read to her every day. Her favorite was a story called "The Wizard of Oz," because it featured many loyal companions who went on adventures with her and played together.

In fact, Psyche had another secret: a small lamb plushie given to her by her attending physician. Unlike her other toys, this lamb often appeared in her dreams, playing with her, listening to her troubles, hugging, and comforting her. To her, the lamb was her most important friend, second only to her sister.

However, as time passed and her treatment showed no signs of improvement, her sister, who used to visit and accompany her daily, started coming less and less frequently. Psyche argued with her sister more than once about this, only to receive more dissatisfaction and complaints in return.

Psyche couldn’t understand why her once gentle sister had changed so much. Only the lamb in her dreams remained as caring as ever. Gradually, Psyche began to desire staying in her dreams forever.

One day, after another intense argument with her sister, Psyche lay in her hospital bed and cried for a long, long time before finally falling asleep. That night, the lamb in her dream asked her, "If you could, would you like to stay in your dream?"

Without hesitation, Psyche nodded.

And so begins the story of "The Dream of Limbo".
