A Beaver's Tale is a Canadian-made game by a solo developer, offering a short, story-driven experience designed to be completed in about 30 minutes. In Story Mode, you play as Buckey the Beaver. You can go swimming in the river, munch down some trees, and build dams with logs. Drama strikes when one of your kits gets stuck on a neighboring island, and you need to build your way across.

Your Goose neighbour, Cecilothy, does not like your beaver kits running all over the place. He’s got a mean streak as long as his beak, so you’d be better off staying out of his feathers.

BUILD A HOME FOR YOUR FAMILY AND BECOME A MASTER BEAVER BUILDER ALONG THE WAY!

Despite the bright colors, A Beaver's Tale is a story about loss, grief and parenthood in the wild. Building a home for your young kits is the most important thing now!

After completing the main story, you can access Building Mode. Fully customize the world of Buckey the Beaver; clear a new plot of land, plant new trees, and build anything out of logs!

Building mode only currently works with a mouse and keyboard.
